Copycat Chick Fil A Sauce

Dipping a waffle fry into a ramekin filled with a copy cat Chick Fil A Sauce.

We are fortunate enough to live near a Chick Fil A location and that actually might be a bad thing by how much we visit! But it is just so good it is hard to stay away for too long. Their original chicken sandwich will always be my favorite, with a side of waffle fries and of course, their original dipping sauce. If I could have swimming pool full of that stuff I wouldn’t even hesitate to shell the money out for that!

Which is why I set out to make the sauce myself to curb my craving for Chick Fil A all the time. To my surprise, I recreated the sauce on my first try and have been using this recipe ever since. It literally tastes exactly like the real thing! It only takes 5 ingredients as well and you whip it all on up to have a quick and yummy sauce! My dad also makes this incredible homemade BBQ sauce and I used this for the sauce and it tasted so good!

Blue plate held with waffles fries, and a ramekin filled with a copy cat Chick Fil a sauce.

Put this on your sandwiches, dip with you french fries and chicken nuggets, or even pour on your salad as a make shift salad dressing! We personally love to dip our quick and easy pigs in a blanket and ham and cheese crescent roll ups in the sauce! The tanginess from the bbq sauce and mustard mixed together and then add that with the sweetness from the honey is just the perfect combination of salty sweet! We always make sure to have a plate piled with fries, and a ramekin or squeeze bottle full of this copy cat sauce whenever we are grilling that evening!

So if you are Chick Fil A fans like we are here in the Ragar household, look no further cause we have you covered with this copycat Chick Fil A sauce. You will always want to have a bottle of this stuff in your fridge because it is that good! We hope you love this dip as much as we do, and comment below to tell us what you think!

Notes

1. We used a homemade BBQ sauce for this dip, but any nice quality BBQ sauce will work. --- 2. If you don't like yellow mustard or don't have any on hand, any other mustard will do like dijon. --- 3. The ingredients are to taste so add a little and take away if needed. --- 4. If you don't have lemon juice, lime juice is a great substitute. --- 5. Sauce can be stored and used to up to 1 week after preparing.
