Healthy Greek Yogurt Chicken

We love one a delicious dish surprises you by also being healthy! This Healthy Greek Yogurt Chicken is super flavorful while cutting out half the calories then your typical oven crispy baked chicken.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good mayo or cream based topping for chicken, baked to perfection. But we like to switch it up every once and a while and have a nice healthy dish for dinner. We happened to have an abundance of plain greek yogurt at the time, so I thought perfect! Let’s try out a healthier version of an oven crispy chicken!

And then this yummy dish was born! The greek yogurt with parmesan cheese and yummy spices lathered on top crisps up in the oven, creating a delicious crust on top. We served this with our crispy oven broccoli as well which was a great healthy side dish as well!

Oh, and did I mention that this recipe only requires 6 ingredients!? Yes, yes, and yes! This is such a great recipe, we are excited for you to try it!

Notes

1. This is a healthier dish, substituting mayo for greek yogurt. If you would like to do mayo, feel free too! --- 2. We love serving this with a side of rice and broccoli. Other sides like mashed potatoes, salad, or dinner rolls, etc. --- 3. Be careful about broiling the chicken for too long. It will dry the chicken out, so just pay attention well. --- 4. We used a store brand greek yogurt and it turned out great!
