The holidays have come and go, and if you are like me, it might be time for a sugar purge! So if you are like me and need to start this year off fresh, trying beginning your morning with this easy go to green smoothie recipes that even your kids are sure to enjoy.
For a few years now, we have been toying with different green smoothie recipes to see what our family likes and we have solidified this recipe down to a “T” and we love it. Every once and a while we will switch it up and put different fruit in the mix, or use kiefer milk instead of regular milk, but for the most part this is our favorite green smoothie recipe!
It is healthy but delicious! My kids love drinking it in the morning and through out the day. It is such a great way to get your greens in for the day, especially for your little ones! I even have made this smoothie recipe into frozen smoothie popsicles for my kids and it is a huge hit every time! They think they are real popsicles so it’s a win win!

Simple Green Berry Smoothie
This easy and delicious green berry breakfast smoothie is the perfect energizing start to your day!
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 large banana, frozen or fresh
- 1/2 cup baby carrots
- 1/2-3/4 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1/2-3/4 cup frozen tropical fruit mix
- 1/4 cup kale, frozen or fresh
- 1 cup pineapple, canned or fresh
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice, from the can
- 2 cups spinach, frozen or fresh
Instructions
Add the milk, banana, carrots, mixed berries, mixed tropical fruit, kale, pineapple, and pineapple juice to the blender.
Blend together until smooth.
Add the spinach to the smoothie and blend again together until completely incorporated.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
1. Add a variety of fruit if wanted! Peaches, grapes, and pears all taste great in this smoothie! --- 2. Sub almond milk if wanting to do dairy free, or crushed ice. Kiefer milk is also wonderful in this smoothie! --- 3. This smoothie can last covered up in the fridge for 2 days. --- 4. If your kids hate eating smoothies, make them into popsicles! They freeze wonderfully and last for up to 3 months in the freezer!
